Cuisines include Contemporary American, Mexican, French, Mediterranean, Italian, Southern, Seafood, Spanish, California, Pan- Asian and more! The event is held in the winter and in the summer.
Dates. Restaurant Week is a good deal at the priciest restaurants. Some restaurants offer pre- fixed menus all the time, so specials during this week may not offer as big a savings. Be aware that not all restaurants participating in Washington Restaurant Week offer the promotional menu at both meals.

DC Restaurant Week: 1. Bang- for- Your- Buck Menus. Restaurant Week is intended as an opportunity for diners to try celebrated DC restaurants they can’t normally afford — while filling tables during a slow time of year for restaurateurs, of course. But many restaurants draft special menus for the occasion, serving dishes that may not appear on the menu at any other time of the year.
This year’s winter Restaurant Week takes place January 1. We’ve found more than a dozen places offering guests the ability to choose from pretty much the entire menu rather than coming up with a special menu (with a few exceptions, where noted). Here’s where we think you can get the best representation of the full- price experience for your money: Where: Acadiana.
